| Alexis Hargreaves is the controlling Cardmaster within the Delilah organisation, one which specialises in the dark magicks and the occult. A lethal sort of man, he possesses skills of the occult nature, most frequently the type dealing with human limits and natural perversions. To most, the organisation remains a mystery, if at all known. He certainly can be described as charming - at least in the superficial sense. Resembling more a snake crouched in the grass awaiting its next move, Alexis has a sort of cunning, manipulative skill that only comes from years of practise. He has a drive to accomplish his goals, no matter the human sacrifice required of those around him. Reserved and cool to most others, he always keeps his heart off his sleeve. He is ever the great chameleon to people - saccharine to those who so wish him to be, controlling with those who display a need for such, distant to those who seem to prefer it that way. And all for personal gain of alliances; Alexis sees opportunity and possibilities with every person or event, treating people more as chess pawns than as human beings. Alexis certainly is proof of his son Cain's source of good looks - sleek black hair and piercing green eyes seem to form a perfect frame for the pale skin well known of an Englishman. A sturdy, distinguished frame tells of more strength than one would believe him to own. Everything seems to revolve about this cursed son of his, even the motives he possesses. This purpose, sinister and twisted, has still deeper facets to it. |
